Our Organization.

Our mission is to empower our personal care home and Bridging Program clients to lead the highest possible quality of life by providing care and assistance to them with dignity and compassion.

Helping Hands Personal Care Home and Helping Hands Bridging Program are wholly owned by Heather Monaghan, who was born in Regina and has made her home here. Heather’s team offers personalized services and attention to detail that the other large, franchised companies can not hope to equal. Heather is a mother, a former teacher and a Licensed Practical Nurse who has the knowledge, the organizational skills, the management experience, and the medical background that makes Helping Hands the caring, well-operated organization that it is.

Heather oversees the operation of both branches of Helping Hands; however, she recognizes that a great team makes a great company. Helping Hands Personal Care Home has a house manager who oversees the day to day operation of the care home. Helping Hands Bridging Program has 2 individual Bridging Program Coordinators who each seek out new clients as well as maintain our current clients and ensure they are thrilled with the services we provide. Each Bridging Coordinator is responsible for monitoring a number of clients to ensure that their changing needs are met, as well as supervising a number of staff who provide care and assistance to those clients. The House Manager and Bridging Coordinators are on call 24-7 to address any client or staffing concerns, as well as to provide emergency assistance, when possible, to people in need. The health system in Regina/Saskatchewan can be difficult to navigate for those who are experiencing health and support needs for the first time. We are here to help!
